Hydrogenation of soybean oil creates trans-fats and in 2006, trans-fats had to be labeled. Therefore, food companies are moving rapidly away from hydrogenated soybean oil. There's demand in the marketplace for up to four to six billion pounds of un-hydrogenated oil. Vistive could very well help meet that demand. And to give you an idea of how much, how big a portion of the domestic soybean oil that is, six billion pounds is: About one third of the total soybean oil usage in the U.S. is for food purposes. The soybean industry has really been fortunate to have a lot of opportunities to improve its product over the life of this crop in the U.S. perhaps in the last 50 to 60 years. This opportunity with low-linolenic oil really is the first opportunity for soybean farmers to benefit in the last ten years. The last big event in the soybean industry was the introduction of Roundup Ready soybeans and that did help create a really big opportunity for the soybean farmers to enhance their profitability. This is the next big step for soybean producers in terms of being able to add value to their crop. We see this as an ongoing pipeline of new opportunities and new ways for farmers and everyone in the value chain to be able to participate and benefit.
